Do you believe in astrology? If so, how often do you check your horoscope and how does it impact your life? If not, do you get annoyed when people make assumptions about you based on your sign?

Yes, there can be truth there, but it's just a tool for projection. The symbolism can often be taken too literally. Most daily horoscopes based on generalized sun signs alone annoy me, as do sun sign stereotypes. As if all people born within a certain month have the same personality, and the exact same things happen to them every day. That is not logical.

I'm glad I added Horses but I didn't get any Pele at all for my first 2 shows of 2009. The lack of Pele in my list is just sad.

Liquid Diamonds is my highest non-staple to hear... always loved, especially the latest performance since included a funny mess-up and then interesting vocal things. I'm surprised my Talula has gotten so high.

I finally got some of the Little Earthquakes songs people complain about hearing too much! Leather, I'm looking at you... but I did enjoy them, especially Crucify because she sang "cat named Easter" too early, followed by another "fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck." Winter being a live novelty even made me cry a little.

That Guy debut was so so good, I just wish my memory from Chicago wasn't so screwy. I had a benzodiazopene that day and it makes my visual memory extra blurry.

Pretty good list, y/n? I've been to seven shows and have not heard the same song at all seven, not even Cornflake Girl.

Those who complain about hearing LE songs like Crucify all the time? I've heard it zero times. Nor Leather, Winter or Happy Phantom (No Girl either, which would be AMAZING, but she hasn't played it in too long).

I think I have added most of Choirgirl to my collection, except for.... gosh darnit, Jackie's Strength completed my collection. Yay, that greatly pleases me as Choirgirl is my favorite (okay, you'll also hear me say Pele and Scarlet are my favorite but they are all my top 3). Wish I could remember actually hearing Playboy Mommy and Northern Lad.

Speaking of Pele, I NEED Horses, Father Lucifer, Doughnut Song, and Blood Roses on this list at some point (and the rest of Pele but those especially).

Scarlet? I can't ask for more after Isabel, really, although I wouldn't mind to complete my collection... Gold Dust would be divine, but I'd be annoyed if I couldn't cry and get into it. Mrs. Jesus would be cool too, since she wrote it through Indiana after 9/11 on the map, the first time I saw her live.

I eat chocolate pretty much every day.

Chocolate pudding, hot cocoa, chocolate muffins, and today: strawberries dipped in melty dark chocolate... I'm in need of new ideas of what to make.

Oh, yeah, plus I'm "hardcore" and "disciplined" at the gym according to ladies there, but even if I wasn't, my chocolate deal wouldn't make me a fat kid. It's actually very healthy. I use dark chocolate baking cocoa for most of my stuff (the Hershey's kind is only 5 calories per serving) and use skim/soy/rice milk. And Splenda. Yeah, yeah. Who knows what that one is doing to me.

Also... I took that RealAge test over, and my result is 24.2. I lost points for working out too intensely and being around inconsiderate smokers all the time and that one isn't really fair. But I'm younger for "Hug your dog." Aww, okay.

It's about time I get into more PJ Harvey. I've heard a few albums here and there (I think the first one I heard was Stories From The City...) However, White Chalk was the first to really stick. So now I'm getting them all from SpiralFrog.

I kind of happen to like this old Hollywood glamor on Tori. My inner drama geek kind of hopes she did some crazy/interesting acting to go along with the music... since she insists on having "visualettes" or "vignettes" or whatever the official name is.

ETA: She's not as closely "similar" but still an alternative female who rocks. I'm really enjoying Neko Case's new album, Middle Cyclone. I've come to realize (especially being in Indiana again) that I really love county music that isn't really country music. I just love songs with natural imagery and sounds.

My pal Ashley and her kids are here for the week to celebrate her birthday. Life here immediately transforms when they're around. Colors are brighter. The weather has been kind to allow us to go on walks. Suddenly it's spring. I'm running outside again. I feel like taking pictures, and not just because of the little models.

I told Ashley I wanted a turquoise snake tattoo. She didn't ask why. She wants a butterfly on her foot. My Jung type alternates right between INFP and INFJ. These are rarer types, with INFJ the most rare.

The J comes in when I really really need structure in my life and set goals. And routine, in order to function properly. Which I do now. And the P is when I have bursts of spontaneous energy, or when I experience mania and intuition overload. Not necessarily a bad thing in the moment, but the results are sometimes dangerous. The bipolar stuff. So basically I need a balance of Perceiving and Judging. The bipolar stuff also makes me a lot more outgoing in spurts but not enough to ever score as an extrovert.

As far as Enneagram goes, I tend to get different results on different tests. I've got some 9 (seeking union, very Libra), some 7. At similarminds.com I tend to get the 4, indulging in fantasy and fearing being defective. I can't argue with that.
